We are thrilled to be hiring a new VP of Sales (National Sales Executive) on our Capital Equipment Solutions team. In this role you will work with investment grade Fortune 1000 clients and prospects to evaluate their current equipment financing programs and demonstrate the benefits of Corcentric’s Fleet Solutions. We are much more than an equipment finance provider - we develop tailored end-to-end solutions for each of our clients, from financing to operations to remarketing. This key position reports to the SVP, Fleet Solutions within our Capital Equipment Solutions team. We’re a dedicated, ambitious group in a growing organization offering plenty of opportunity. This is a new business-generating, individual contributor sales role with a lucrative, uncapped commission plan. The ideal candidate is an experienced, relationship-driven sales professional looking to join a winning team.
The successful candidate will have:
Deep knowledge and experience in truck fleet solution sales.
Relationships with decision makers at brand-name corporations that manage large, privately-owned fleets.
A hunter-salesperson mindset, comfortable working autonomously to drive new logo acquisition.
As a VP, Sales, Capital Equipment Solutions, you will:
Leverage relationships with private fleet management executives to prospect new deals.
Engage with existing and prospective clients through business meetings and networking events to foster trust and long-term relationships. Visit prospects or assigned accounts, developing customer contacts in finance and operations with the primary goal of bringing additional value through the Corcentric financial services unique lease structures and financing solutions models.
Apply strong financial acumen to review statements, business plans, and projections, ensuring sound decision-making.
Develop a business plan that identifies prospects which meet our prospect profile.
Maintain deep knowledge of equipment types, valuation trends, and associated sales channels to inform deal structures.
Gather detailed data and information regarding current and historical utilization, maintenance and repair data, fuel data, equipment specifications, equipment cost and procurement methods, preferred vendors, historical remarketing methods, current vehicle life cycle philosophy and current replacement cycles by equipment type for prospects.
Work with internal teammates to analyze data and enhance the probability of closing transactions by providing financial solutions using operational data which brings value to the customer.
Analyze and present how our leasing offerings and asset management program versus other forms of acquisition and finance will generate lower cost and greater value for customers and prospects.
Stay abreast of financial markets, general interest trends, banking community issues, customer discount rates, tax rates and incentives.
Keep Corcentric management apprised of all prospective business utilizing Salesforce CRM.
You’ll need to have:
A strong track record as an effective sales/business development professional in the trucking and transportation industry.
Excellent understanding of trucks and fleet operations (including maintenance practices, service levels, mpg, etc.)
Deep industry relationships with senior-level executives of businesses with private fleet programs and fleet operations manager willing to take your call day one.
Advanced understanding of commercial transactions, including operating leases, sale-leasebacks, credit structuring, documentation, pricing, and residual valuation.
Effectiveness in synthesizing complex information and engaging in real-time, consultative dialogue with clients.
Impactful communication skills, with the ability to communicate with every industry level from maintenance technicians to C-Suite executives.
Ability to balance risk and reward, multi-task effectively, and thrive in rapid-growth environments.
High energy, strong work ethic and professional credibility.
Proficient computer skills.
The ability to travel frequently, approximately 70%

It’s great if you also have:
Experience in fair market value (FMV) equipment leasing and financing
A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, or similar
