We are looking for a Treasury Analyst to join our Treasury Services team.
In this role, you’ll work directly with Hypertherm’s cash management/application of cash systems and processes. You’ll apply your strong understanding of financials and analytics to help meet the growing credit demands throughout Hypertherm’s customers, suppliers, and counterparties.
You’ll also work alongside our IT department through enterprise architecture to find upfront integration points with automation, Oracle, and OTC systems, and assist with projects to help drive the vision of how Hypertherm does Order to Cash. A strong interpersonal understanding and the ability to work across boundaries will help you to effectively collaborate with multiple customers and teams with various styles and needs.
Actively process a high volume of transactions through technology and multicurrency problem resolution to enhance liquidity and risk management to support business operations and growth
Provide analysis, make recommendations for process improvement initiatives and credit decisions for customers and suppliers
Utilize systems and tools to ensure accurate and reliable knowledge capture, organization, tracking, and reporting of data to optimize the facilitation and execution of key treasury programs
Actively collaborate with business partners to assess need and proactively leverages subject matter expertise to identify and share short and long-term opportunities for improved financial performance and strategic decision making
Process, monitor, and report on transactions within specialty areas to protect company assets and provide for global liquidity
Use interpersonal skills to understand financial data and assessments to collaborate with associates throughout the organization
Observe financial statements and assessments to investigate items that don’t appear right using ratios and trends to articulate what you’re seeing to members of our Operations team.
Perform research and gather data to understand how changes made impact your surrounding teams and customers, incorporate controls and compliance in research
Provide analysis, make recommendations for and lead process improvement initiatives
Bachelor’s Degree with 2-4 years relative experience
Applied experience in either Liquidity Management or Credit Management,
Advanced computer skills (ERP system, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Able to communicate and articulate in a professional manner, both written and verbal.
Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks while meeting deadlines with minimal supervision.
Intermediate financial accounting and reporting expertise.
Strong presentation skills, comfortable in front of any audience
Certified Treasury Professional certification
One of the following: Certified Credit Executive (CCE), Certified Credit and Risk Analyst (CCRA), Credit Business Associate (CBA), Credit Business Fellow (CBF)
